It seems so unfair to lose such a remarkable woman and friend to countless people, and it is impossible for us to understand the justification for this profound loss. Lauren was a life force and advocate for the great things she believed in. Her enthusiasm was infectious and it was always such a joy to see her, even occasionally as it was for many of us. We've always been so amazed at Lauren's strength - at her unconditional love of life and steadfast confidence in everything positive - we know that somehow and in some way her spirit endures. To remain cheerful, warm, and vibrant under the most adverse of conditions: this is the inspirational memory and goal Lauren leaves for the rest of us.
