I am having a hard time imagining a world without Lauren. We have always been best friends through the biggest moments of our lives. She fought the hard fight. I prayed she would win as we all did. The last time I heard from her she was still the optimist, one of the many things I loved and admired her for. We are saddened by your and our loss. Lauren was always fun-loving and such a shining spirit. She will always remain in our minds one of the truly gifted people who thought of others even while fighting for her own life.
